Technology for the Bike Ride Part 3 - The Kindle
I love to read.
And I especially love to read on a bike ride.
You bike till you're good and tired.
Find a nice shade tree...
Or a comfortable rock with a lovely view...
And relax on the side of the road with a good book.
And I love to read about the places I visit...
Oregon...
....Idaho
....Wyoming
....and that will be just the beginning...
So how am I going to carry enough books for a bike ride of 3,630 miles across America?
My answer is The Kindle.
I love my Kindle.
It can carry hundreds of books...
...in 10.7 ounces!
It fits in my bike bag....
and...
if I'm lost in Minnesota and I suddenly think of a book I need to read...
I can buy it instantly by wireless!
I tried the IPad...
Too big for my bike carrier.
And to read on a cell phone?
The screen is too small.
So, like Goldilocks, I've found my bowl which is just right.
And it's my Kindle.
